Pensive

Pile of thoughts nailed me in a wily looP
Egged me towards my forgotten desirE
Naïve heart chased a blind redemptioN
Settled for small wishes and silly glorieS
Instead of challenging the waves of alibI
Voices of emotions urged me to be a leV
Ending the era of losses towards ablazE

*Lev : Yiddish name meaning lion.*Alibi : regrets

Thanks to all of you.Claudia, Brian,Saumya,The write girl, rikaalinfinityy and Ramesh.

I really wondered if people will like this. I am relieved.

Well Mr.Ramesh, you are right. It's more of crafting.Getting the right words for ending each line with the kind of meaning i wished was a tough task.To be fair had to search intensely and had to change the lines to suit the words i got to make the poem as it looks now. But somehow i love this format. Once again, thanks alot to all of you for reading. :)
