FIFA Gaming

 As a college student

I found myself on football ground often

Playing the game with my college mates

When I got my first Computer

My craze for gaming started with FIFA

Playing with my favourite team Manchester United

My friends used to come over for multiplayer games

That was competitive and fun during the evenings

Then I got fascinated about starting from the lower league

Building the club through the leagues to the top league

Then playing the continental club competitions

It was thrilling to play with unknown players

And make them worthy over the time

Then the art of buying and selling players

To ultimately build a team full of stars

Simulating some games along the way

And playing the glamour games with excitement

My keyboard keys were worn-out with excessive use

I have lived in ecstasy playing FIFA many a night

Without any girl in my life and the troubles

I had an addiction to playing FIFA for years

Now it has been a decade since I've played it!

This poem is purely based on my nostalgia for playing EA Sports FIFA games. Since I came out of my addiction, I don't feel like playing again. Images are taken from Google.

Come back kings

Minutes to go
A Mountain to climb
Dreaded moments waiting
To cage in the destiny
We look for a miracle
As the tired legs
Try to spark magic
The crowd goes roaring
Believe!
Passes galore with one aim
To force through the iron walls
To sneak in a ray of hope
As red devils, trigger shots at the post
They did it at Nou camp
They did it at white hart lane
They did it at Bloomfield
And many times elsewhere
Breaching through for glory
Breaking the hearts of opponents
They are the comeback kings
Everyone wish to see them loose
Everyone tries to write them off
But they come back chasing an equalizer
And then goes on for the final kill
They are the thrillers of dying seconds
With the doses of passion and determination
Never to lose the game until the whistle is blown

Saina o' Saina

Saina o' Saina, Saina O' Saina,
just bring a gold medal,
you will be the golden girl,
 saina o' saina,
who cares sania afterall

Saina o' Saina, Saina o' saina,
 all eyes are on you,
be the golden girl,
 you will be worshiped,
as an indian goddess,
smash and get the gold

Smash and get the gold ,
saina o' saina,
 come on baby,
everyone is cheering,
don't be scared anymore
,just fly high and smash,
Saina o' Saina

Yes oh yes,baby
Saina o’ saina
Keep fighting and scoring
Our prayers are with you
Your poster will be on walls
Smash and get the gold
Saina o’ saina

This is my experimental double acrostic poem. A double acrostic consists of clues for a sequence of words (the cross-lights) to be written in a list, plus two clues to the words spelled out by the first and last letters of the cross-lights (the uprights).
