With layers of sparkling gold dust

And a pendant made of platinum

He wants to see it shine in her neck

It epitomizes his desire and affection

He wishes to gift it to her as a promise

To be her cohort in life forever

Lost Girl

 

I have seen the transformation of a girl,

From a tenacious teenager to a pretty lady,

While making me her secret keeper,

I saw her transform from a friend to a lover,

Showering me with love and compassion,

I saw her turning foe, with bitterness

Showering me with hurtful words

When it came to choosing love or family,

She feared that her family will disown her,

She chose to leave me behind forever!
