Lost Girl

I have seen the transformation of a girl,

From a tenacious teenager to a pretty lady,

While making me her secret keeper,

I saw her transform from a friend to a lover,

Showering me with love and compassion,

I saw her turning foe, with bitterness

Showering me with hurtful words

When it came to choosing love or family,

She feared that her family will disown her,

She chose to leave me behind forever!

Library of Souls

Library of souls,

A place to embrace the silence of the afterlife,

To let go of the burden from the past life,

Where one could communicate with mere presence,

Where you can find the long lost buddies,

And those bete noires,

Share all the pain from the previous life

and the dearest memories,

And dream together about new lives!

Fear of Love

She's listening to the melancholy

Of her beloved's sweet mutterings.

He felt he found a tender soulmate.

Again, after the demise of a bone-deep romance,

That withered his dreams and desires,

She is tempted for an eternal journey with him,

Until death part them apart

Depression Effects

My nightful behaviours changed,

As depression twisted my mind,

Sleep is beyond my control,

I surrendered myself to medicines,

Instead of listening to contorted lullabies,

I couldn't watch late-night football,

Nor sunrise,

I found my relief in poetry!

Silent Love

Their romance echoes in the mist,

They exchange glances,

While walking in the park,

They freed their smiles,

They shared their hearts,

Silently over the months,

Without uttering a word,

He follow her upto her street

To get a special smile for the day

They wait for the morning to meet

again, And engage in their silence

He used fingers to express how pretty

she was, On days when she looked

traditional, They found ways to tell

if they won't come next day,

He rode his scooter in front of her

college, She showed him an angry face

He told sorry with hands on his ears

Next day, he plucked the flowers

she touched, And left a letter for her

She took the letter from the grass

He had confessed his love for her

Her eyes sparkled with joy and

he was over the moon, She waited

for him at the coconut stall,

She gave him her landline number,

Told him to call when she's alone,

The start of their love journey

Beyond the boundaries of the park!
