What it takes

A smile is what it takes,

To cheer up the spirits.

A laugh is what it takes,

To forget the bad issues.

A rose is what it takes,

To express the feelings.

A hand is what it takes,

To hold another hand,

And, to walk away.

A dream is what it takes,

To embark on a journey,

For achieving something.

A tear is what it takes,

To shed the pain in heart.

A sorry is what it takes,

To solve a bitter fight.

Patience is what it takes,

To receive something special.

Love is what it takes,

To bring two hearts together.

Trust is what it takes,

To bond those hearts forever.




I enjoyed writing this poem a lot. 

Shade of Darkness

Darkness, a shade of unknown fear,

which blinds the vision, in a way.

It prompts eyes to seek rays of light

To find the lost path and direction

Without maps of emotions

To get to a secured shelter

Darkness is the colorful pain

In the eyes of a blind

The only color that makes up a huge world

A color that reminds the presence of

A brighter world that is beyond them

It befriended the colorless noise

To guide through a strange world

Built with dreams and passion

But kept alive with the means of sinful desire

To make it bigger for comfort, not for peace

A place, not meant for those who struggle

It’s a big damn world of brightness

Where even the ones with bright eyes

Wander in its wilderness in search of hope

Darkness is an endless void that fills heart

When love cease to rise from depths

Of the solemn soul

As it lost its wings in the fury of fate

Charred into ashes of peace

Destined to embrace the freedom of heaven

Away from the world of hatred

Just as this bright day, the dark night also fascinates me with its treasure of mysteries to explore,and i am just trying to unearth some.

Love

Love isn’t a sin, love isn’t a crime

There is no need to run away from it

Love is like a wind, it just flows into the heart

No matter, how much you try to avoid it

Wings

Give the wings to a butterfly, which lost its wings

You will see it slowly trying to rise up and down

Trying to learn to fly again to see the world once again

As it has got in its mind, the images about a garden

Where there are beautiful flowers with exotic aroma

The wish to taste that sweet honey once again

The wish to fly with bunch of other butterflies

The wish to pollinate the countless romantic flowers

The wish to contribute its part in this world

These wishes are powerful to push it higher towards sky

Then will free its new wings to breeze through the wind

Waving back a grateful smile for letting it fly again

That smile is priceless and that joy is unforgettable

Give wings to dreams of someone and let them fly

You will get that beautiful smile full of love

Magical Language

Its sad to see the crumbling beautiful relations

In matter of days ,all because of misunderstandings

Or over mistakes committed

It may be pardonable or not

When egos clash,its a war like situation

One has to surrender for amicable solution

Who will do it?

Blame game takes situation to a brink

With some wily foxes waiting in ranks to pounce upon

It’s never easy for the incumbents

To make a strong comback through reconcilliation

I wish for a magical language

That stands for eternal peace

That can show the feelings inside the heart

Through the spoken words

As sometimes your pain and apologies

Goes unnoticed

It will help the ones who struggle

To express their their emotions for someone

When odd reactions jeapordize relations

There might be only one chance to prove

That there is strong love still left inside

Some might say, “Take it or forget”

With no real conviction

Onus is all upon you,where you can’t fail

A dream life is at stakes

Fix it or watch it going farther without a trace

Then every single word becomes precious

You can win over the heart again

Or just lose it to someone else who got nice words

I wish for a magical language

That can just erase all the aprehensions

And even the small trace of hatred ,if there any

With its healing power

That can rebuild the trust and bonds

Within matter of words

Reminding the good old times from memory

The delightful romance and union

The aspirations weaved together

For a brighter future with joy

Leading you back to where you belong

In the heart of a sweetheart who loved without limits

To continue the saga of love for rest of the lives

A New Start

I can’t see the road

Fog has taken over

Show me another way

I want to be in hill again

Sell me all the trash

I want to score a goal again

Give me a soul

I am dying down

Support me with fresh air

I want to breath once again

I can’t see any luck

Hatred has taken over

Serve me a final chance

Life After Death

It still remains a mystery,

what i saw in my dream

someone put me on a highway

I saw heaven on one side

I saw hell on other side

I kept guessing

where am I heading for?

The path looked so long

and there was no entrance

on either side to get in

But i saw,a few walking

in front of me

And i saw a few following me

in search of their destiny

 Is this life after death?

Is heaven a home to live?

Is hell a destitution center?

I saw the angels flying

in the heaven

Spreading love and peace

to all the happy faces

I saw my loved ones

waving me to get in

I saw the devils screaming

in the dens of hell

spreading terror and pain

to all those tear filled eyes

I saw my loved ones

asking for help to escape

I don't know where i should go

How can i forget the love

all those gave,when they were alive !

But, do i have a choice for myself ?

Hidden Beneath

Hidden beneath the silence

There is a lively smile

Hidden beneath the anger

There is a black humor

Hidden beneath the tears

There is an aspiring hope

Hidden beneath the unsaid words

There are millions of emotions

Hidden beneath the laughter

There is a mysterious pain

Hidden beneath the beliefs

There is a treacherous fear

Hidden beneath the greed

There is a story of losses

Hidden beneath the glory

There are hours of unrelenting effort

Hidden beneath the luck

There is unchangeable fate

Hidden beneath the love

There is a selfish necessity

Hidden beneath the hatred

There is dangerous jealousy

Hidden beneath the jealousy

There is unending anger to do better

Hidden beneath a wait

There is an undying wish

Girl,stop running away from life

You can hide inside the covers of bed

You may shed tears in silence, with pain

But, will it bring you any thing new?

Will it bring your lost love, again?

Things are beyond your control, you know

Then, what’s the point in hiding in darkness?

Getting aloof from all those who care for you

Isn’t it a crime, which you are going to commit?

When you are crying in the company of despair

There are some, who are concerned about you

Why can’t you see the tears of people around you?

Life isn’t all about the losses of the past and present

You are forgetting, those who depends on you

They are cheerful when you are smiling and happy

There will be gloominess around your loved ones

Yet, you just don’t wanna see things around you

Can thoughts change the destiny? ask yourself

Cutting yourself can spring blood and induce pain

You feel it’s a way to shed away all  your worries

It will only leave some scars, as marks of cowardice

Get out of your covers and throw away the thoughts

Leave behind your depressed soul, it’s a dead one

Take hope as your new soul, a companion for life

Until you meet your destiny, a lively soul to share life

Girl, stop running away from your  life

Just face it, don’t bother about the past

Gal stop crying, feeling depressed

Just live on, a new world is awaiting you

Cloned Baby

Everyone long to have a cute baby

Once they grow into their youth

With strong feelings of affection

Running inside the heart

To care an innocent face

As the time changed

Relations are in anarchy

Arranged marriages or love marriages

Now there’s no guarantee of getting along together

Egos are fighting it out over every silly thing

Nobody wants to give a damn inch

Dating is no more than a farce event

Many looking for one nightstand

Or to have live in relations without commitments

Age is not a bar anymore

                                  Some rush to marriage, thinking that it will work

Soon to part ways over some fights

Gays and lesbians are just like other couples

It’s hard to believe

Abandoned girls over pregnancy

Or girls walking away for lonely life

Single mothers and single fathers

A reality hurts some times

Time and time again

Cheating husbands and cheating wives

Secret affairs that kills integrity of marriages

Divorces are just like any other formality

No value for relations

There is no love for a lifetime

As people are looking for that elusive love

Always

The long battles for the possession of kids

It’s emotional war fought by attorneys

You can see tearful fathers and mothers

Seeing the court giving the rights of kids

To ex-spouses

Some may never get to see their beloved kids

There arises the question

What about having a cloned baby?

Countless couples struggle to have kids of their own blood

With treatments never yielding results

Some have to rely on donor banks

For getting pregnant

Giving an hidden feeling of guilt of failure

To the partners

Some have to rely on surrogate mothers

They hire their motherhood for someone else’s happiness

For some money

As mere carriers,

They never get to take care of those kids

Whom they given birth after ten long months

They face emotional separation for a lifetime

Why can’t authorities allow people to have cloned babies?

As the technologies are evolving

We have the dolly and other cloned animals

Lived in front of us

May be there’s some short comings

But I feel someone has to take initiative

That could change the lives of millions

Soon hapless cheated singles can have cloned babies

They won’t have to find out utopian partners

They can just have their babies

A reason worthwhile for living, than suffering alone

About-lost love and life

Then those hated lesbians and gays can have kids

Which once all believed as impossible scenario

Let’s make science fiction into reality

If guys can give birth to kid

With sophisticated techniques

Let’s have artificial wombs and incubators

Where babies can grow in peace

And doctors can keep the process in check

Babies are source for happiness

Every one has the right to have own babies

Those who oppose abortion

Open your eyes

See the pain of millions who crave for kids

Without emotional breakdown from relations

May be we can have a better world

With less unhappy relations

Let the singles be virgin parents, if they wish so

As they can’t bear the turbulence of relation

So that they have someone to look after in old age

Let couples have kids from their blood

And have some happiness in their families

You all support research on deadly weapons

For killing hapless and innocent people

Why you can’t let cloned babies to come to this world with smiles?

Just like those test tube babies did some decades back

I am waiting for seeing the smile of a cloned baby

In this divine day of love

I shower all the love in my heart

In these words to let you know

Like a beautiful cat with a gorgeous smile

That enlightens my life

Like a rhythm that flows, as words

Precious than my heartbeats

Reminding me to live on

With a hope, so strong and inspiring

Like breathe of endearing music

See those rainbows swaying with your song

Run around just like when you were kid

Swim in those beautiful lakes

Take those beautiful roses

And feel the fragrance of love

Feel the fragrance of courtesy

Feel the fragrance of friendship

Feel the fragrance of happiness

Keep one rose on your hair

And watch yourself on the mirror

You will feel like a queen

Dance along with the tunes of angels

Then paint those beautiful sceneries

In the canvas of your heart

Lumber yourself into a sweet sleep

Enjoying life in a dreamy world

You will wake up freshened up

With beautiful smile on your eyes

All those pains will vanish

You will feel a brand new spirit

The spirit of hope and happiness!

Healingland

Lets walk to a place where there is no illness

You may know where it is

Its the land of angels

Where there are prayers around

Healing every illness before it comes

Lets just walk to that place

Now that the wounds hurts you

And your soul revelling in pain

Let the prayers heal you dear

Let the angels bring medicines of love

Let the care of theirs make you feel good

When you sleep,

Let the dreams take away your pain

When you lay awake

Let the breeze take away the pain

When you sit and worry

Let the thoughts take away the pain

When you feel the pain is too harsh

Let the hope to take them away

Let the daisies and roses

Bring fragrance of happiness

Let them quench your pain

With the affection in those words

Let the blue sky make you sedated

While thinking about the stars out there

Let the moon bring some shy dreams to you

So that you forget your pain

Port of New Hope

One day i will be there

To see you my dream, in real

I waited for a long time

To start this journey of my lifetime

I saw you everyday in my mind

I wished only one thing

To be there, to see you once

Then to be with you forever

Time is running out

Seasons moving out in haste

Every day that passed away

Reminded me about you

That I am so far away from you

It always haunted me like hell

Now my wait is over

I have drawn my path on the map

To be there at the shortest time

To embrace you my love

Then to build a life together

Over the blocks of the past

With the hopes for future as pillars

Once I am there

I could feel the pressure of moving ahead
