Pello - The Duocorn

Pello the duocorn sat on the

Floral arrangement for occultic

Worship set by its witch mistress

The worship place is splashed with

Neon pink potions to attract the souls

It has the magical powers to fly and talk

Its long hairs can rise and create havoc

Witch travels on its back on dark nights

To meet her wizard lover in the soul hill

They offer souls to the god of the aliens

With a dream to become aliens of zelio

planet, and leave the earth for a new life

Witch need a thousand more souls to

fulfil the demand set by the alien god

After the worship, pello got the powers

To attract and catch souls without harm

It was sent to the death valley to bring

The required souls for the final worship

It came back with souls to the soul hill

Wizard and witch offered the souls and

Worshipped the alien god with psychic

devotion, Alien god Zeliouni demanded

the sacrifice of Pello to fulfil their wish,

They restrained Pello and extracted its soul,

With eyes full of grief and tears, The impressed

Zeliouni made them aliens, and gave back the life of Pello!

Abandoned Quarry

An abandoned quarry

The graveyard of a hill

Bared bones of an ecosystem

Ripped apart of its soul

By machines that extracted granite

The contractors took away

As much granite as possible

Until they couldn't make any more money

Bereft of rocks

Deep trenches emerge

With full of water reminiscent of green

Like a cluster of ponds

But the water was unsafe to drink

With remnants of chemicals

Unsafe to dive and swim

As it is deeper than it looks

After years of solitude

Nature absorbed the land

Back to its fold

With shrubs and trees

Providing a canopy of green

When the water became safe

Locals deposited fishes

They thrived in those ponds

Birds came back and set up nests

On the trees

The air had a new fragrance

The visual treat lure people

To experience the miracle of nature

Let's Get Lost

Invisible Scars

Invisible scars in a broken heart,
Left by someone who proposed
to last the distance,
The depth of it is so deep,
Torn by the broken trust,
Pinched by the lack of compassion,
Hurting more with each lonely day,
Healing is like a snarling snail,
Taking eternity to find solace

Lark Person

I wish I was a lark person,
Rising early to see the sunrise
and mist in the flowers,
I wish to breath the fresh air
with the tinge of intoxicating earth,
I wish to feel the cold water in river,
I wish to walk under the canopy of trees,
But I remain asleep in the morning

Orchids

Orchids in a botanical garden
Rendered the elegance of roses
Could it be a gift for his lover?
His eyes gazed at its beauty
Inside the bouquet he kept a note
Dear,your smile is mersmerising
Shy,and natural like this flower!

Last Bottle of Wine

He's on his last bottle of wine,
Enemies are nearing the fort,
Fellow soldiers have fled the scene,
A tactical retreat,
But he's too drunk to move,
He threw the gunpowder
on the wooden tower,
He set it on fire,
He offered wine
to enemy for his life,
They shot him dead

Proposal

They walked along the golden sands,
Holding each others hands,
Towards the sunset,
Whispering romantic songs they love,
They played with the waves,
They built a sand house of their dreams,
He told her to find a treasure inside,
She found a ring,
Onlookers cheered her to accept

Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari,
The southern tip of mainland India,
The lights on the rocks invites,
To enjoy the breeze and voice of sea,
And see the beauty of sunset,
Waves cover the small patch of beach,
The curves on the map is visible in real,
Wait for morning to see the sunrise!

Shore

After the storm,
The old ship was badly damaged,
Its sails were beyond repair,
Mast ruptured the wooden deck,
When it fell,
Ship was sinking,
Boats were lost,
Sailors salvaged planks to build a makeshift boat,
They left behind the dead,
And sailed with hope to reach a shore

Conserve

Catch every drop of rain as possible

On ponds, lakes, and water tanks
Necessity of water is increasing
Saline water is not the alternative
Earth needs cooling with rainwater
Raging thirst of humans is a threat
Vast arable lands can turn green
Even bring birds back

Guardians of the River

Two men unboarded the last bus to the village

Right after the bridge after 11 pm

After watching a movie in the town

They walked with torch showing the path

On a pitch-dark night

The frogs and crickets in the paddy fields

Let their presence known

They saw two strangers at the river bathing ghat

They jumped into the river and swam merrily

They asked, do you want to join us?

It is serene with cold water

The men asked the strangers

Who are you? We have never seen you before

Strangers laughed and spoke

We are the guardians of this river

For many years now

The men realized that their villagers used to remind them

If two men ask them to join in the river at night

Never jump into the river

As those were the ghosts of men drowned

In the river

So fond of swimming in that river

The men started running in fear and climbed the hill

They lost their torch and direction

The ghosts screamed and chased them

One of the men fell unconscious

The other somehow reached home

Those strangers still wait for people at night

At the bathing ghat

The legend continued and many more people

Saw the ghosts at night and ran for their lives

Do I Love Her?

I am on a long walk

through the cobblestone road

at the middle of the night

when the streetlights

refused to show me the way

the moon came to my rescue

even on this rainy day, to my surprise!

Where am I going?

I don't know

All I know is that I will walk

as long as my legs don't tire down

My spirits are on the high

as I threw my umbrella

to walk through this chilly rain

I wonder if I am mad!

But I feel so excited

I asked myself

Do I love her?

I am in search of an answer

I feel she's walking alongside me

smiling and laughing cutely

I can hear her singing a song

She shared with me earlier

The more I walked

All I see is her fluttering around

Like a butterfly

I don't know why her smile is

flashing in my heart

Is she an angel?

Why am I crazy about her?

I tried to walk so far

To see if she remains in my mind

All i am thinking is about her

Oh my heart, tell me now

Do I love her?
