Cheer up

Dance to the beats of evening rain
Sing in tandem with the rhythm of inner soul
Tap the hands and spread the cheer
Drain out all the negative vibes into the sky
As you dance, watch out for new steps
Buy all the claps for brimming smilie in return
See the swirling moves of coffee vapors in mid air
See how the wind makes them dance to its tune
Watching from the sidelines will make you realize
That the jokers of life have to prank hard
To extract the bubbles of joyous laughter

I am late,but i wanna participate in pleasantly-disturbed-thursdays-vol-5

1. And

Dragons and dinosaurs, a dig at the past
Zombies and robots, a vision into the future
War and peace, a couple with affinity
Floods and draughts, a couple that never meets
Body and shadow, a multi-dimensional illusion
Crime and detective, a telepathic chase
Painting and painter,  a colorful romance

This is my experimental foray into seven line poetry.

Two ends that never meet

We are like oil and water
Who is oil, who is water?
We don’t know
Where there is oil, there is water
Oil is drilled from depths of sea
From the depths of deserts
In that depth water, do exist
Quite a relation
Oil can catch fire soon
While water can extinguish fire
Perfect foil for each other
Oil can heat up the water
Both never mix
Yet balances each other
Floating together like twins

Lightning Mystery

A lightning struck my lonely hear
Though, there were no rain clouds around
I wonder where it came from!
I wonder, what is happening with me!
I saw the ever-blue canvas of vast sky
Filled with stars, asteroids, meteorites
Planets and their countless moons
Right through the goggles of sunshine
Sun dwarfed all of them
With an attitude of an emperor
I saw the pride of a mighty ruler
While shipping back to my curious heart
I found some pockets of mystery
Left behind by that surprise lightning
Am I confused or uncertain?
Am I excited or shocked?
I am bundled with countless questions
An aura of blind hope
It has swamped over the rest of my heart
I can’t understand this feeling
Something new, but not unfamiliar
I feel, I am ready for an adventure
I don’t know where it will lead me to
I am touched by the gracious prospects
Sometimes some risks are worth
More than money, lust, and emotions
As there is a heaven of serene life
Awaiting amidst the clouds of anxious hearts
As i rewind that lightning again
I am finding some intimate response
Emerging from those mysterious pockets
Well, I need to solve this mystery
I don’t know what is there awaiting
But, I am liking this sweet little
Mystery lightning somehow

After all this heart thrives on the mystery.Well it is a good thing to have in life at times.

Summer: Two sides of one coin

Summer
A season of distress
A season of prayers
A season of anxious hope
As burning sun and his naughty games
Leaves everyone at their edge of irritation
As the droplets of water, vanish to the sky
In its new avatar of bearded clouds
Curses, thrown aplenty with painful agony
As the thermometers sore to new heights
Scientists and activists
Blames it on the shoulders of global warming
But, it’s the suffering season for all those
Living without the comfort of air conditioners
Or unable to escape to cooler pastures for vacations
While those who got the savings and riches
Packs their bags and moves to those greeny patches
To enjoy the lighthearted sunshine or enchanting rains
Or to embrace the winter in other hemisphere
They pass their time getting their exquisite
Tanned skins on those golden beaches
Sipping on those juices and cocktails of fun
Away from the sweat and fear of doomed days
The safaris take them towards the jungle
To show the final pieces of nature and animal left
While others wander in quest of entertainment
Glories in those casinos and other festivals
Learning the glorious histories and cultures
Romancing and pleasing lovers by shelling currencies
Yeah, it is the one side of a coin called life
A side of celebration at its envying best
While on the other side
Fields crack upside than any turning cricket pitch
Without the traces of priceless water
The dreams of another bumper crop
Vanished up to the sky right in front of their eyes
While tears rained down on to those fields
A helpless expression of discontent
As wells dried up, villagers struggled to fill their pots
With that precious liquid, vital for surviving
They travel the distances to bring the juice of life
Alongside those deserted highways
Crumbled animal skeletons lay in peace
Thirsty hearts crave for mercy of nature
They begged for cool breeze and blessing from heaven
A refreshing rain to quench
The deadly thirst of this biosphere
As heat waves kept taking away countless souls
To the gardens of heaven
This is the celebration of gloom and deaths
There is only a simple wish left, an end to this summer
Gruel some period of torture
But, it’s beyond the begging hands of sufferers
To control the powers of this nature
