LONELY
Longing to have an accomplice
Oasis like, amidst the desert horde
Niggle, with an urge to share feelings
Eager to fill the emptiness in heart
Looking to spend leisure time with
Yearning to be the friend and lover
Wedding Knot
A Good-natured couple
Waited for so long
To tie the knot
With respuscular strings
Of love, to start a new life
They're drenched until
The last drop of the rain
Amidst the tulips garden
Exchanging vows of desire
With silver rings
Lost River
A lost river in the desert
Dried up the source of lives
Farmlands became barren
Animals were freed to death
As men couldn't find water
It uprooted tribes to salt mines
There was a lake with salty water
They found a way to separe salt
Everything looked white like snow
Elders sang folk songs at night
About the life in their villages
And their adventures in the river
The youth painted those images
About lost lifestyles and cultures
While the moon witnessed their pain

My 2AM Thoughts
My 2am thoughts
Hover around getting a deep sleep
Though I am medicated
I make plans for next morning
That I never see
I think about the lost love
I think about what it could have been
If I had visited her when she craved for it
Then wonder if Red Devils can win!
