A lost river in the desert
Dried up the source of lives
Farmlands became barren
Animals were freed to death
As men couldn't find water
It uprooted tribes to salt mines
There was a lake with salty water
They found a way to separe salt
Everything looked white like snow
Elders sang folk songs at night
About the life in their villages
And their adventures in the river
The youth painted those images
About lost lifestyles and cultures
While the moon witnessed their pain
