A Long Walk Home

A long walk home
13 stories tall long suffering
With a broken heart drowning in silence

The bitter words from her
Tasting like a poisonous goodbye
Killed their nice journey together atonce

The slow poignant steps
Ruing being steadfast in his love
Agonised like a furious mount Vesuvius

A desolate dark room
Filling more pain in his mind
Betrayed like an ally embracing enemy

A box full of memories
Portraying years worth romance
Looked like thorns in the garden of hope

A hand full of blood tears
Raining from the dejected clouds
Mended all thoughts towards moving on

Poignant, deep with pathos, you have brought the reader along with your walk, to shoulder your pain. Welcome home!

That was a really beautiful and we'll written poem. Your choice of item to use with it also perfectly matched the content of the poem
