Anti-National

I am an Anti-National
I don’t pretend my country or cow as my mother
I prefer to give that respect to my mother alone

I am an Anti-National
I don’t worship a saffron terrorist Godse as Patriot
I admire Gandhi and millions of freedom fighters

I am an Anti-National
I don’t visit RSS shakha to learn about AkhandaBharat
I am fascinated about the formation of Indian Union

I am an Anti-National
I don’t eulogize Sanskrit or Hindi to become a nationalist
I love my mother tongue and stand for all Indian languages

I am an Anti-National
I don’t feel threatened by minorities and other ideologists
I rather bother about hatred spewing rioters and criminals

I am an Anti-National
I don’t use tri-color to force Indians to prove their patriotism
I can’t imagine a saffron flag representing India in my lifetime

I am an Anti-National
I don’t endorse emergency under Indira Gandhi decades go
I believe in Indian constitution and democracy, nothing else

I am an Anti-National
I don’t think, our government should benefit only corporates
I wish for social welfare support and opportunities to all Indians

I am an Anti-National
I don’t think, any innocent Indian should be jailed for sedition
I wish that our government could nab some deadly criminals

I am an Anti-National
I don’t think, I have to prove my patriotism to rioters and haters
I wish they could stop killing fellow Indians and help Indian farmers

I am an Anti-National
I don’t plan to go to Pakistan, just to make newbie patriots happy
I was born here, I will live here and I want to die here, when I am old

I am an Anti-National
I don’t want to identify myself as anything but a normal Indian
I prefer being an Anti-national than a saffron blinded nationalist

Reliving - Into the Wild

Sometimes it feels,
The woods are warmer ,
Than the coldblooded society,
a small hobbit and a fireplace,
a small garden aside a stream,
somewhere far in a lonely valley,
with some sheeps for company,
life will be whole lot simpler ,
with nothing to prove,
nothing to gain,
nothing to lose,
no bonds, no chains
no hope, no expectations
no deadlines,no appeasement
just an idyllic journey amidst nature

Asylum

Asylum
A bordered world
Patrolled by armed men
Radars, fighter planes, and ships
Seeking the blood of perceived enemies
Yet some of them breach the borders to bomb
Imaginary or futuristic threats away from the shores
Taking innocent lives for no fault of theirs, but for greed
Dismantling the lives of millions in their own homelands
By making them refugees at the mercy of neighbors
Brave hearts risk their lives and march with a hope
Through tough terrains battling adverse weathers
Militants, Traffickers, rogue patrols and open sea
Holding breath against death at times of trouble
To reach a faraway safe land to start lives again
Seeking asylum away from shattered homeland
To live, work, and save every penny they can
To build a nest of safe future for themselves
And for uplifting lives of the loved ones left behind
With a wish for reunion someday in the new shore

Strangers

Someday, we will meet,
When we couldn't afford to,
Somewhere midst chaos.
We never met,

When we could have,
We had plenty of time
To explore sands and hills
Together, in search of freedom
Destiny or fate, We didn't
Our dreams withered away
In the drought of our silence,
While we weaved them in winter,
With a hope to splash in monsoon
Now the spring bloom hollow smiles
Mocking at your portrait of memoir
You will walk past me, like a stranger
With a silence that ill fits a radio
With a smile, hidden somewhere
Saying hello to an old buddy
That's all left in between us

Lost Portrait

She sat on the white sands
Of a lonely, get away beach
Keeping her chin rest upon
On folded legs, she gazed
At the symphony of waves
She shared her thoughts,
With the meditating waves
She received vibe of peace
 To calm her exuberance
About a secret romance
Naughty breeze dillydallied
With her short beach drape
While the shallow lagoon
In her backdrop, sought
Impressions of her beauty
Voyeuristic sun smiled at her
While portraying her curves
Precisely on the sand canvas
She surrendered herself to sun
For a golden tan, for a surprise
She waited for the splashy sunset
To welcome the charming moon
To lit her evening with her man
