Gruel some nature of contemporary jobs
Rips apart the high levels of expectation
Impatient peers consistently moves on
Making lame excuses of unbearable stress
All along in this competitive business world
Casting doubts over the human comforts
Exhilarating the demands of parity in pay
Pushing people towards ambitious productivity regime
Hastens their desire to exit for less turbulent pastures
After all everyone wish to work for securing their families
Seeking all their energy and time for unrealistic deadlines
Endangers the harmony of an aspiring peaceful work space
Stuck on a boring job that extracts the skills with betraying pay
Tires out even the hearts of ever-loyal passionate employees
Unless there is motivation in the form of promotion and perks
Mind it, no body wish to live for the sake of working all the time
Better time- frames and work distributions can ease the nerves
Instilling fresh confidence in an out of sorts insecure work force
Eager to have ample time to enjoy their lives with the loved ones

What you describe is actually the reason why I'm taking a sabbatical for a year and moving to NYC. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks for reading. Some of my friend's experiences and their desire for a peaceful job with secured payments prompted me to write this.
I am thinking of it..
in a roomful of plates
Thinking of changing job?
Wow i get it. I love the work that i do but if i could stay home and just write and do school...i would in a heartbeat.
K, it's boring after some weeks, working from home alone. Yeah may be you will find it exciting. yeah if its just about writing freely without worries, yeah it will be cool.
It's quite awful, isn't it? How so many folks cling to jobs they hate so as to put bread on the table. The angst is so really well captured.
Yeah, i've heard alot from friends about their tough work schedules and how it's hampering their lives. At the end of the day, they make good money, but don't have time to spend it or enjoy life. That makes job harder to love ,though they would continue with it for secured life.
You have explained well why people feel the drudgery at their workplaces...
Good Acrostic!!
The last line of the Acrostic is the high point. Its worth changing your job if you don't get ample time to spend with your loved ones. Else it becomes a drudgery...
Well put...
What a clever idea! Linked acrostics! I do hope you find satisfaction in your work soon!!!!!!
Thanks Rumya. These days people just keep jumping from job to job lured by comfort or better pay.If they are offered the same, they wouldn't have left at the first place.
Nanka. Thanks. Well,i have seen so many people who earn so much, but don't have time to even sleep well or rest. They miss out on small joys in life like seeing their kids grow.In the end when they get old, kids moves on as for them these parents are strangers.
Thanks miss Rinkly. I am happy with my job. I work from home by choice.Apart from laziness nothing harms it.But i do find some deadlines as unrealistic as it doesn't make much difference if its posted today or two days later when returns are expected only months later.I wished to capture the agony of friends who are experiencing the real office life.
oh yes, u have described the gruelling nature of some jobs very well..!
Thanks Leo. :)
